Suffrage should have shown the flaw in identitarianism

"A pro-suffrage image from a 1913 : red light districts transform into libraries and playgrounds. "

The dreams of the suffragists were glorious, but they assumed women were inherently different than men. When women get power, they do what men do. Which really shouldn't have surprised anyone. If you want to argue that women helped bring in some social reforms, I'll point out that it was an age of social reform, starting with men voting to give women the vote.

No, I'm not saying women shouldn't have gotten the vote. I'm saying all the isms are problems, but the greater problem continues to be capitalism.
